This is a continuation of {THIS THREAD}

Well, I ended up going to the Hamburg Reptile Show this past Saturday and add one more to the family. I finally got a Razorback Musk Turtle (Sternotherus carinatus) for my tank. I've named "him" Lonesome George after the last Galapagos tortoise of a certain subspecies that died, causing their extinction this year. I introduced him to my two Common Musk Turtles (Sternotherus odoratus) yesterday and they've all been getting along swimmingly (hooray for puns! :biggrin: ). Here's a picture of George right after I got him:

He is adorable :)

I am maxed out at two turtles.
Three has me maxed out. This will be my last addition, but the three that I have are awesome and plenty entertaining so I don't think I I'd even want any more.

Turtles are so entertaining huh? My only gripe about them is the huge tank/amount of water needed to fill it. It doesnt make things like moving or going away on extended vacations very easy...

I swear they always have a billion teeny tiny turtles of all sorts at the Pennsylvania reptile shows...... That and gators. So many gators..... and the prettiest eyelash vipers I've ever seen.

I've only been to reptile shows in Eastern PA and I also love turtles so I've been blessed with the Hamburg show. They always have a great selection.
