beautiful snake! I have a 10 month old female Irian Jaya carpet python. She is such a sweetheart. She has never struck at me... which is somewhat out of the norm for young carpet pythons.

Wow, what a beaut. Showing that level of yellow at that size would suggest a very bright adult. Congrats!

lol lucky you, I just put my hand in the enclosure on mine and he starts freaking out and stricking at me :evil:

He just shed today and yeah, I got to say that the yellow is comming out really great :D But I saw some carpet getting is yellow turning to a brownish color with age, I just hope it doesn't do the same thing with mine!

If you know what the parents look like, that should give you a good idea of what it will turn out like.

Just my opinion, but I see that snake getting a lot of black tipping creeping in over the years and having a dirty tan tinge.....I would be surprised if it turned out to be a bright yellow adult.

I completly agree with you, I saw his parents, they look pretty good, but they have more black than mine.

Whoah!, Nice. I like that little bit extra rainbow iridescence snakes show just after a molt. Good looking animal for sure!:clap:
