My molting experience!

The past couple of weeks I was a lil sad because I was not in the presence when 4 of my spiders molted. 2 of them had molted while i was out of town for labor day weekend. and the other two molted while I was either at work or school. It sux not to be there for your sling for his first molt (first step). But right now when i just got home I see that my lil sling is laying on its back, and it is interesting cuz he is not moving. Me being a tarantula newbee at first though that he was dead, then I thought thats what happens when they molt. silly me. so right now im sitting patiently by my lil sling Chilly III waiting to see what comes out of him.

oh shoot....I was all excited about clicking on this thread, I thought that YOU had actually molted....now that would have been really exciting!!!

Yah, seeing a molt progress is extremely fun, especially when it's a little sling and you are new to the hobby.

Enjoy the show, and don't panic if something doesn't look right. With most species, especially those generally kept by beginners, you hardly ever have a problem with a molt as long as the temp and humidity are being kept right in the first place... Patience, Yago!!;P
