Well don't ask me how but when I came home yesterday from work (late shift) I found a paper right on the door not to go in the living room cuz Nina was out :D
Well I woke up my wife and she said she fell asleep on the couch and when she woke up she saw Nina right above her head ;)
I took a picture with a CD so you can see how big she is.
I acctually couldn't stop laughing...I was deffiantly lucky :)
Well she's back in her habitat.

Pretty spider! Glad you were able to find her and get her recaptured so quickly!

Thanks :)
Nina is a little defensive so I haven't sexed her yet, however I have a strong suspicion that she is infact a male and will change her name to Nino soon ;)

Yeah the second day I had my P Irminia, I didnt have a real screen for the tank I was using at the time, so I took an old window screen (not knowing enough to realize a T could chew through it, it was pretty old) and she had escaped! My roommate was pissed off that it was out but when I came back home I spotted her in the corner of the celing, right above her cage. It's so relieving to find them when they escape, but I'll never do something stupid like that again lol.

Glad to know you found your smithi, he or she looks like a good spider!
