As some of you know, I rescued the light-colored (champagne) mare about 6 months ago. She's REALLY doing well. :) We've been doing a lot of dressage work and she is steadily gaining weight.

The bay horse, Allie, is in as good of shape as ever at 18 years old. I don't ride her very often, but she's a good pet.

Allie's TEEF!

This is Nacho BEFORE she lost all of the weight and had to be rescued. The other horses are her full siblings.

And just for fun, here's a Paso Fino that I ride bucking on the lunge line.

Gorgeous mares!

I was never one for dressage myself, but I love watching it... so elegant! Then you get into the hardcore dressage people, who I think over-collect... but that's a whole other discussion lol

Both girls look great!

The people who pull their horses' heads in THAT far are not true dressage people - just people taking short-cuts in most cases. :) The real dressage people prefer long and low to anything else in the world. ;) I've worked for a couple of really top level people (Olympics) and they don't crank their horse's heads in at all.

I'm actually a casual eventer and career trail rider. lol

Just for fun, here she they are under saddle:
