My Male B.C.I

Well, i got this boy in June of this past summer, and he was a year old then already, so Im guessing at about 1 1/2 years in age right now.

I used this picture with a program to get his exact size in inches. He is a Male, Pastel B.C.I. and is 41.5" in length (almost exactly). Named Mitch (anyone that has seen Road Trip would get the name, but i promise i dont treat him the same as they did). He is also the most calm and gentle snake i have ever owned, or even seen in person (my cousin had a boa that was REALLY nasty). He is also pretty overdue for a shed too, his eyes havent clouded yet, but he is alot duller than normal, plus you cant see from that angle but has a nice faded pink all along his sides.

Wow! He is beautiful!!
I really want to get a snake but I don't think my hubby would let me. We already have quite a zoo at our house.
If I ever did get one though, that's the kind I would get. They are really sweet snakes.

yea, ive wanted a boa every since 2nd grade, but my dad would never let me, doesnt want something that gets big enough to eat large rats.

But junior year summer session of college i just bought one, and surprised the parents when i got home, but my dad held him for 5 mins and instantly grew attached, so all was well.

Once he sheds ill try and get new pics of him all shiney, and ill try and get the pink on his sides too.

Also if you wanted to try and convince your husband, the kind i have doesnt get too large for a boa, males only get about 6' not too bad considering females of BCC can get 10-12'.
