Here is a picture of my little girl i got home in december 07. She has put on some weight now, but she is very calm and handable

Thanx! Me too, though i am generally happy with the green version also But i just enjoy that i am lucky and have a calm girl, most of them are pretty mean though.

i know they are smaller but how robust do the yellows get in relation to the greens?

I have seen them be as thick as a big guys thigh and close to 4 meters. Weight up til 40kg. But that is of course females.

If you like this snake, then go get one, they are very pretty when they just changed, but do loose some colour before shedding. But they are generally not that good tempered as my girl.

And here is some of my Boa Constrictor, born 30/6-07 and called Tyson because they share birthday, But she have a LOT better temper than the original;-)

lol yes unfortunately you are probably right. Mike was my favorite in his early days, and sad to see himm slip away like that;-( But my snake is NOT slipping away and i do enjoy her company;-)

I will have to agree that the yellow anaconda is a beautiful snake. I've met a few decent tempered ones around here. There's a guy near the Lansing area that breeds both the yellow and the greens. He has a nine foot female yellow named sunshine. She is usually a complete doll.
Mark my advice tho'! Never trust a water snake. They often will give no warning when they are in a bad mood!
