Ive had this little 1.25" speed demon for about a month now. I've been waiting for a molt for sometime, expecting a sling to have a pretty rigorous molt schedule...I was wrong. It was well fed, active, seemingly content, but in my mind a molt was my ultimate confirmation of T comfort and my husbandry.

I placed a small 6" heat mat on the side of the container for extra heat(my home stays in the high 60's to low 70's) in case it wanted a bit of extra warmth. It promply made use it, in addition to my 4" Rosea who used it for a couple days after feedings(the rosea tank and pokie container are side by side, with the heat mat sandwiched inbetween).

The sling made a very well built burrow and stayed at the entrance over the last couple of days, refused a meal and eventually webbed itself down to the bottom of the burrow on its back.

So now its pressumably happy and content( i havent checked in on it, but it appears to be away from the molt), and that makes me feel like an appreciated and accomplished keeper...now to get to work on its super habitat and get its trees to sprout in the next couple of weeks.
