I did a photoshoot last night with most of my isopods and thought I’d share them all in one thread. I have recently gotten more interested in them, with all the colors and types available, and have gotten a small collection going now. I’ll start with my favorite,

Cubaris sp. cappuccino

Next are my clown isopods

Your photos are so nice what camera did you use?
Thank you! I use a Nikon d7500 and a sigma 105mm macro with a raynox 250. I use a godox flash, I don’t remember which off the top of my head but I use a Cygnustech diffuser which makes the lighting look great :)

Must be a seriously great camera excellent photos! It’s so hard take photos of small bugs with this old outdated iPhone. And I keep running out of space for pictures so I had to delete stuff..(usually irrelevant stuff)

And then one of the A. gestroi looks really unique compared to the others so I am going to try to isolate this morph! 53906968156_cde9bfabf5_o.jpeg
