why shavings?

must smell nice, but i wouldnt want to clean it. hopefully it doesnt collect too much bacteria/mold.

they breeding, or are they new? pretty for a roach.

I heard the shavings are fine. They look like a bunch of cockroaches in a chickens nest with the shavings.
