hello, this is my rat, she is very smart and very docile, she lives on this table in my backyard, free to go in and out her aquarium, and she also helps me to clean the agapornis food that falls on the table =P

Rats are VERY intelligent..I would say it never leaves the table its on.I had one when I was young that had full run of my bedroom,but would always sleep in its cage. I think they are the best small mammal pets

ye she never tries to leave the table, she is too afraid of falling

and its a very intelligent animal indeed, one of my fav pets of all times

She is beautiful! I have to agree with everyone here - I was quite surprised by their intelligence and sweet dispositions when I first got mine. By far the best pet ever!!

Cute rat, they are smart. I suggest you get her a friend. I promise they arent anymore work then one besides a tiny bit more food. Your current rat will get to have a lot more expierience alot more with a rat friend. She will have someone to groom, play with, wrestle, and cuddle with. You will also be more entertained.

personally im not a huge rat fan, but i dont dislike them either, they are definately great pets

I also agree that you should purchase another rat or two as they're naturally very social animals and to deprive them of social interaction is close to torture.

I love and am addicted to rats!I let mine play out of their cages all the time,but only under my supervision...little mischeif makers!

I agree...she needs a friend.Rats are very,very social animals.
