All the caresheets on the 'net say that on goldens will take pinkies every now and then. I tried this last night when I discovered that P. murinus was in pre-moult. Much to my dismay my golden girl pounced, bit, and shook her head properly, but after a while of carrying the poor unfortunate soul around, eventually dropped it and paid it no attention. I retrieved the poor little sucker with a broken, bruised back and to quickly end suffering I fed it to the adult female curly hair. She (the gecko) usually has a diet of crickets and waxworms, and in the summertime moths, and the occasional supplement of banana or mango baby food. (she loves it!). I guess red meat wasn't to her taste.
