My GBB molted in to a mature male last night...bright blue legs

well...a few people had guessed that it was a female before this molt, so i was a lil surprised to find tibial hooks and sperm bulbs after it had molted lol. I'm not sure if i'm happy or sad about this...i'm happy cuz I'm willing to send him off for a mate and hope for a good egg sac, but sad because I won't have him around as long as I though (just have to get another ).

anyway, i took a few pics during the molt because the legs were such an amazing blue (and not because of the flash either)...and some poor pics off the tibial hooks/sperm bulbs (he's sitting in the corner with a bunch of poop/webbing in the way). Did have to reduce the flash exposure a bit on some of the pics because the webbing was coming up too bright...

Really pretty! My female GBB just moulted last week, and the blue is simply remarkable. I posted a pic up on my photo/art website, and the first person who commented refused to believe that those were the spider's real colors.
I guess everyone just expects T's to be brown or black, and those neon colors really throw 'em for a loop!

Okay, thanks to you a GBB is definitely going to be my next T! Such amazing colours That close-up shot (3rd out of 4 in the second lot you posted) is awesome, as are the moult pics. Congrats and good luck getting some GBB babies!
