I told him about the 30 gallon being too big, but since he had it he wanted to use it. The substrate (if Justin used the stuff I gave him is 50% potting soil and 50% jungle floor stuff, I forget the exact name of it.) Def looks nice. Id stick a blondi in there instead.Looks good. My only concern is that there is a lot of space for the T to fall and hurt itself. You should try and make the substrate layer thicker by a few inches. What substrate is that by the way?
thats a good ideaWhy not dividing it in half and having 2 spiders?
Dividers are not recommended. t's have a nasty habit of going from one side to the next and you wind up with one large T. If you do a divider, it MUST go all the way to the lid with absolutly no gap.Why not dividing it in half and having 2 spiders?
That would be a very good communal Avic tank, plenty of hiding places. One of the guys at the store we went to the other night had 3 Avic Avics living together in a 10 gallon for about 2 years. Said he never had a problem. I may look into this as well. That would be a perfect pinktoe Avicularia sp. tank! That way you dont have to worry about a fall too much.
