Wonder if it's rosie moult season, mine has just webbed herself into a corner today after not eating for the past three months. And her mate is busy tappity tapping on the glass shouting "hey hen... come see whit ah've done on this wee silk hanky fur ye" I doubt he's shouting it in a Scottish accent but hey it's a funny idea...
