My first Scorp:D

Hey guys!Well i started out with a female chilean rose tarantula in january, and yes now i ended up with 11 spiders and finally got my first scorpion just yesterday! I forgot to take a piece of paper with a scientific name but im 99% sure its a Centruroides vittatus. It is still pretty small. Im not really sure how you measure scorps but the body size without the tail i'd compare to a 1/2" cricket. I put it on sand. Was wondering how much humidity these guys need and if they like 2 have a big enclosure. Right now its in a little pill tube kind of thing.. about 5 lengths of its body diameter. Thnx for helping out a newbie

Ah yes C vittatus. They are native to my area. One that small I would put in a deli cup or one of the smaller kritter keepers.
I have caught these and kept them for a few months and turned them loose when I got tired of them. I would keep it on peat moss and give it water in a bottle lid.
