I haven't had a Pokie for a long time, so I'm not much help there. Good luck. Can't wait for pics!!

Oh, no worries.. you didn't come off as cocky at all! Some people just get that way, after they have Ts like pokies for a bit without incident.. they get lax, thinking they got it covered.. then something goes wrong lol

It sounds like you're going at this the right way!

Awesome!!! Pokies are alot of fun to keep. The two you got are among my favorite looking Pokies (P. metallica & P. subfusca Highland Form respectively being my faves of this genus).

As has been said already, respect the T and you'll be alright. Just remember that complacency is a bite waiting to happen.

I would give them a taller container with some cork bark to climb and web on.
They like the sub dry with just spraying the sides to add humidity......I can only speak of my experience with regalis, rufilatas and fasciatas though.
Some of them seem like they are climbing to the top already :)
Very nice T's BTW......one of my favourite species.

You have also made an excellent choice in OW T's :)
You will have to watch them and be ready for anything when they get a bit bigger though.
You are going to love these puppies.

out of curiosity, have you ever seen how fast these can move....as SA/adults ?
if not, they can really move quicker than you can react......i have seen it for myself.you see them move but it is so quick,by time your brain tells your hand/arm to move......it's too late.
be careful.........you really dont take chances with these.
enjoy :)
