I got my first gecko last night, a leopard female, about a year old. She is such a cutie!!
And tomorrow, I will be getting two crested geckos from Aneesa's muse!!!! I've already seen picutes and they are adorable!!! I can't wait until they are here, I finally got the husband to send off the digital camera for repairs, so hopefully it will come back soon!!

The leopard gecko is named Hestia, and the two little cresties are named Bettis and River. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats great! Post some pics. Will you buy a partner for your leo? Name them Paris and Nicole(the Crested).

Lizards are great!

Hopefully not, seeing as they're a solitary species at maturity :? Unless you mean a mate, in which case it'd still be best to house seperately unless breeding to prevent undue stress to the female.

Can't wait to see pics. I *love* cresteds; they're just the best. Low maintenance, beautiful, active... definately one of the best lizards in the hobby.

Wasn't planning on a mate for the leo, she is quite happy not having to share her worms with anyone else. She is a little pig, last night she ate 4 waxworms and a roach. She and her Daddy were having a blast and I think they both would have been more than willing to continue, but I put a stop to it.
As far as the cresties go, I really don't know. They are tiny so I don't know what sexes they are yet. Basically unless they both turn out female, I won't be housing them together as adults. I hope they could live together, but I'm well aware that if they are male and female, they will breed. If I decide to do that later, that is fine, but right now I just need to get used to being owned by geckos in general.
