This is the little princess in her 5 gallon planted tank.
She came from Ryan and Im 99.9% sure hes a member on this forum. We just got her yesterday and I could not be happier.

I was thinking of putting in some isopods or springtails, what do you all think?
I cant figure out how to change the title. Wanted to put it under my name.

Brachypelma like their substrate on the dryer side,
even desert dry is ok, they do need that water dish with fresh water though.
Isopods do well in moist conditions..
She's beautiful :) Enjoy her

OHHH hmmm I keep reading that they are from a temperate tropical area? the bedding is fairly dry except when i water the plants. Anyone else think I should change the tank?

Just let the substrate dry out and maybe think about raising the substrate level to prevent falling injuries. Everything else looks fine. Natural tanks are hard to pull off with a species that likes it on the dry side. If you water just the base of the plants and no where else you can maybe pull it off. If she starts climbing the walls all the time that means she is not happy with her setup.

If these plants do not need much water I'm sure she'll be fine,
but at the very least they should be planted on one side,
giving your lady a drier side of her home,
which I'm certain is where she will prefer to be. :)

OK I'll move some things around and add some more soil. My only concern here is that I am in a desert and my humidity in that room is REALLY low. I'll add some succulent plants. They like dryer areas. Thanks for all the help! :)

No problem at all..

also, any chance those plants would survive if you used coco-fiber
instead of soil?
It comes in a compressed brick that expands to many times its size as needed, and in my opinion is a much safer choice than soil for this lady. :)
