One of the few t's that I named. Gomper the LP, in the new enclosure. Lots of threat posturing before he gave up and walked in, but didn't try to bite. Unlike my 1" B auratum that whirled around and bit the brush when I rehoused it.

Great photos!

I have an A. seemanni also, my husband said "It looks like it has skeleton legs" and I told him "There is actually one called Skeleton tarantula" (E. murinus) and I showed him a picture. He looked at me and grumbled "Looks the same to me..." Lol

Now you can just go ahead and get a murinus and pretend to your husband if he notices, that it's only the seemani and nope, you haven't got another t 😇😂

Oh, man, I'd love that!!

Realistically, I am not going to bite off more than I can chew though. I recently took the plunge and ordered my first OWs - C. darlingi slings, common 'first' Old Worlds. E. murinus is waaayyy out of my league at this point lol. I'm going to put in the appropriate time with some 'easier' Old Worlds before tackling something higher-profile like E. murinus :)

If I told you it was a new world would it help you get one? Go on, you knows you want to!! Lol 😃

@justanotherTkeeper Saying that by all accounts they are pretty defensive and nasty so they may as well be old worlds!

I don't have murinus but I do have a couple of Ephebopus cyanognathus (blue fangs). They are quite small at a couple of inches, so haven't seen any attitude from them..... yet .

Love the G.irheringi. On my want list!
They are awesome! It spends a lot of its time in its hide at the moment (bought as a sexed female so don't why I'm calling her it. Habit I guess) but will pounce out to catch a cricket. Amazing t's. Also newly moulted the black looks blue under the right light.

Sounds gorgeous! I was set to get one at an invert show this year but they all got cancelled obviously! I can wait for such a nice specimen! 😁

Oh yes, I wants it.... eventually lol I was SO shocked when I learned it's not an old world, because it has no business being a new world!

E. cyanognathus are so pretty! A big downside about both is that many keepers never see them until rehouse time, or sometimes at night. So pretty, yet so elusive! Pricy pet holes Lol

You're right. They definitely seem to think that they are old worlds!

This is about as much as I see of mine at the moment. Well at least until it has finished it's mission to wallpaper the lid over the hide in poop!

" Hey matey, I can clean that away in seconds! Now what you gonna do, huh?!"

I've been thinking about adding a rufescens to my collection at some point. Love the way they look.

Brachypelma auratum. Finally started showing a little red on the knees at the last moult 😍 Love this one. Such a calm little thing.

My beautiful P sazimai girl. Sadly lost 2 legs in a bad moult. Hoping she'll have a shorter moult cycle this time around to repair the damage. By the time I got back from work and found her, it was too late.
She's managing just fine on 6 for now and is as lovely as ever.

Adorable wc momma jumping spider. Sorry species unidentified at present!

IMG_20200617_223610.jpg

She's recently double clutched. I wasn't aware she was gravid when I got her.

She's still in great condition even after all those babies.

Here's a hilarious picture I took earlier. That expression! 😂

IMG_20201008_222612~2.jpg

Edit: The reason I took her home is she was found on a plant trolley at the store where I work, which is in the middle of a precinct. She probably wouldn't have survived, as she was not living in very good conditions.

E. campestratus, suspect female.

Rarely see this one outside of the burrow, so a real treat. Can't understand why they are so hard to acquire.

They are lovely tarantulas and make great beginner T's. Mine is very docile, so far.

Loves it underground, so not easy to catch it on the surface long enough to take a photo.

IMG_20201109_221440.jpg

Recently received a P. atrichomatus sling in with a bunch of freebies from a very kind seller, so will add a photo of that too soon.

Cyriocosmus elegans in need of a rehouse now. I love this little thing. It does the best happy dances and webbing action! So amusing to watch it twerking around the vial!
