I thought I'd show my pets here. And me. So yeah many of these are inverts but I'm not making two threads, I'll put it here because it features a mammal - me and a reptile - Sephiq, so two!

And here's the leader of the group. Yeah. Say hello to Choobaine. Choobaine is a cute chick. Weren't expecting that were ya?

I also have locusts, a maaassive cricket colony and so on but you've all seen those before.

Sephiq is cute, such a doormat he is, that boy will go for enormous lengths of time without handling but will still curl up on your lap and close his eyes and settle down to a nap if you pet him.

He's up for sale at the moment.

I love him to bits but as stated before - he's a massive door mat. He's the healthiest dragon you'll ever hope to meet but I'm a bug chick at heart. I either want a savannah monitor (I used to have one, I'd love another) or I want the biggest tank of roaches and maybe some other species they can live with. A jungle in a pretty box.

Baisically - I know enough about dragons to be bored by them now. I don't do the emotional attatchement thing so I don't really get a kick from having him.

folks I KNOW they ain't beetles very very well, I breed beetles for goodness sake. It's a verbal tick I can't get rid of. I've typed it so many damn times and clicked and then gone "Ach... ... ... whatever,"
It's also my horrible habit of calling the dragon Sephiq and no one having a clue what a Sephiq is. It applies to nearly everything. In my pet list there's the scientific name so no one gets confused.

Everyone's been after assassin bugs lately. No idea why.

They are very cute though, I'm cutting a video of them for the film festival when I get an OS system that works.

My dermestids are more awesome though! I transfered them two weeks ago to the cricket tank but before that I'd chuck a lump of meat in there every couple of days. That was awesome!

You don't need to correct my spelling folks, I can barely spell my own name as it is!

aw they are brillaint though, just to fire a lump of meat in there now and again and watch the fun. I'd love to keep the odder breeds of dermestidae from all over the world....
