Hi Everyone, I'm fairly new to Arachnoboards and since joining up a couple of weeks ago, I've finally had some time to actually get to posting a message. I guess I should introduce myself as the fiance of YouLosePayUp who's an avid Tarantula collector and who is the one who got me into this hobby. We have branched out in many directions as u'll read below and hope to run a unique pet shop one of these days.

I have an almost 4 month old female Chameleon and have done a lot of reading online about them, their habitats, their needs/requirements and also found some horror stories. Most of these stories have to do with females becoming egg bound and dieing or dieing a slow and painful death due to bone deterioration problems.

I've set my chameleon up with all of her egg laying needs (aka play sand in the bottom of her cage) and she has all of the foods and suppliments she needs, but my question that no one online elsewhere has been able to answer is: How old are Chameleons before they start producing eggs ?? If anyone out there has some useful information or experiences they would like to share, it would be greatly appreciated.

We also have many other pets outside of my Chameleon ranging from a baby bearded dragon, a new moon crab (purchased today), several day gecko's, another vry tiny gecko that no one is sure the name of lol and today I picked up a really cool anole that resembles a miniature savana. We also have an emporer scorp and approximately 20 Tarantulas in a variety of species - but my favorites are my little avics.

As well as all of these great creatures, we have a Jack Russle, a cockatiel, a love bird and a pair of zebra finches - oh yeah and can't forget the kids lol. Well I guess this should be enough to tell you all about us - not bad for a first posting! Take care, Blu
