just jumped up here on the computer desk, reached out a bratty paw, and flipped my glass of icewater onto the floor.

Then, she walked away. Didnt even want the water, she just wanted to knock my glass over.

why do I love them again?

It's not that I hate cats, I'm just more of a dog type ...

Last night, in the dark bedroom, I was laying in bed-flat on my back.

From out of nowhere, she leaps and lands right on my stomach, pushes off-and was gone. Just like someone had dropped her on me.

I think she is trying to kill me.

I love my cats dearly too, but the 'teenager', Sam... let's just say I can't wait until he goes next month to get neutered. He'll be six months old Feb. 1 - his hormones are racing and it seems as if he is just doing things to see if he can get away with it. He did, however, get a bit of a surprize the other day.
He's been jumping up on my animal cages in the basement - roaches, rats, tarantulas, guinea pig. Sits there and whispers to them about what he'd do if he could only get a hold of them:)
Well, I had the lid off of the guinea pigs 55 gallon tank. Went up to the kitchen to get her some 'pig salad' and heard all hell break loose in the basement. Went down to find Sam sitting on the floor, eyes as big as saucers, tufts of hair sticking up all over and the guinea pig, looking like one of those crazed animals in 'Food of the Gods' with her mouth full of cat hair. I don't know just what went on, but I think she showed Sam that he may talk the talk but she can walk the walk LOL

PS That white kitten is soooo cute!!

I love OTHER people's cats! That way I can come home to peace and quiet after visiting them LOL
Actually, I grew up with cats, my parents bred Burmese and Siamese cats when I was a child. However, my other half is not a cat lover, and we have a dog that feels the same way..hence..no cats here.
I have many clients that have cats I take care of though, and I love to visit them...they are always doing something interesting and funny!

Gail, our little guy (Cracker) is getting the same way. Its about nearing his time to visit the vet.

Here is a more recent shot of him with his favorite toy. You would almost think he was a dog the way he drags this stuffed animal around the house. :?

That is so funny. I bet the look on the cat's face was priceless. I had a similar experience with my cat and a juvenile male iguana. I'm not sure who won, but my cat walked lightly around the iguana after that.

Our Sam is the same way - I collect stuffed animals and never had a problem with the other cats but Sam found the box they were in (yea, we still haven't completely unpacked even though we bought the house in August  ) and he pulled them all out. He took his favorite - and left the rest. He drags 'his' lemur around by the tail.
Here's a pic of Sam, I snapped it just as he was yawning...
