...is a big WUSS lol! I got 8 slings all 1/2" a week ago and all of them eat live crickets, except the S. cal that is. It will only eat dead ones I put by its burrow. I would have thought a notorious T like this one would not need my help killing its food.

Kinda gross, but if you get small or med crickets (small, not pinheads) and cut them in half, the front half will stay alive n' twichin' for a bit. This way it still has to "kill" it, but it will be stationary. Helps build confidence (possibly not a true statement, but what fun are pets if you don't humanize them at least a little bit?)
