She molted! I knew she was getting close, and felt inclined to checking up on her earlier today, but got lazy. I just checked on her tonight, and found her freshly molted! She's my first adult T to molt, which was pretty exciting. I'm glad I already know her sex, as I had a rough time figuring out how the molt was supposed to go, and ended up tearing it in the process, but did manage to see the flap. At least now I know exactly which part of the molt I'm supposed to look for (when its all twisted up, its hard to figure out which piece came from which part!) so in the future, I can handle it better.

Anyways, here she is, all brand new and shiny!

Her abdomen looks a bit wrinkled, but everything else looks great. I'm sure a drink of water will help her re-hydrate.
I'm so excited! I really want her to be my first breeding project, and now I'm this much closer! Next step, locating a male!

Awesome! I've had several slings molt at this point, but have yet to have my one big T (my rosie) molt - so I'm looking forward to a large T molt. Very exciting! Your girl is looking very nice! {D

Lola looks stunning! Congrats! Your pic turned out much better than mine.
Does yours burrow any? Just curious 'cause mine just hangs out in the open 90% of the time. Elvira, only has burrowed once that I know of. She went down at the back of her half log and surfaced at the side of it. Made a cool little backdoor!:D

She doesn't burrow, she actually likes to climb, weird as it may seem... She used to climb all over the sides and top of her tank, until I made her substrate kind of hilly. She doesn't like it flat. She normally doesn't even go in her hide much, except for the molt.

Here's a better pic... I'm a bit concerned about the wrinkly abdomen, but that shouldn't be a big problem, right?
