my 1 inch curly hasn't eaten for 1 week now and i wonder what has happened to it. maybe it's the crickets. the crickets is around the 3/4 of the spider... do u think the cricket is too large for it to attack??
hmmmmm you might try pinching the crickets head...that way it wont really fight back and the body portion stays somewhat alive. Also if the cricket it 3/4 the size of the spider I would not expect it to eat more that one of those a week or even longer. She might just be full, or she might be approaching a molt.
it looks ok to me.. but after he ate the "3/4 of it's size cricket" last week it looks real fat. he just ate a "3/4 of it's size cricket" yesterday and i'm so happy. but he didn't really eat much of eat maybe only 1/4 of it. why? the cricket doesn't taste good? lol
tried putting a few frozen crickets overnight but he doesn't eat em and i thought i was stupid lol.
curly hairs are usually quite the little pigs! Like telson says, if the curly refuses food, more than likely he's full and is going to molt eventually. Chances are he won't be eating again until after he molts.
