found this in tennessee going home from tx, i was pumping gas and this was on the pipline of that gas pump

Looks like an adult hickory horned devil.

there doing great, i was unable to find that centapied you where wanting

It's a Royal Walnut Moth, which is the adult of the hickory horned devil caterpillar.
