Let me just say beforehand that I had a camera trained on the snake taking continuous pictures while I handled it. It is still in its nippy stage, although it is beginning to calm down, and I figured I would try to get an action shot of it. I was not provoking or harming it in any way, I just wanted to share an interesting photo. I can't wait until this one gets big . She is about 2.5 feet right now and eating f/t rat pups. She has got a long way to go before she really starts looking like a coastal as far as size is concerned. But it is something to look forward to!
