Beautiful snakes. I have some Boiga's too, they are the greatest. :)

Is that a baby mangrove snake? If so can you tell me how you are keeping it and where you got him from? I am interested in getting a couple, but I find alot of conflicting info about them. Plus I have only seen the all black specimens for sale. Well that was a couple of months ago. I figure this spring I should be able to pick up a couple.

Very nice! I kept an adult female Sulawesi Mangrove (the all black species) for a while.....the larger Boiga species can be a handful lol!

Boiga info

Yes, that’s a baby Boiga dendrophila. The picture was taken quite a while ago, it is wall over 1m these days and growing. It was imported from Europe (Netherlands), is a captive born from a WC female producing a clutch soon after she was imported. The snake is not the easiest to care for, it requires very high humidity and high temps. No is it as nasty as they are often described (don’t risk going anywhere near them at night though). The following link pretty much gives you what you need to know about them, hope it helps.
