Molting stopped? Delayed ..

I don’t see this often , pretty rare for me. Although it might happen when I’m not awake watching them.
She Proceeded to lay on back , I came back 3 hours later to check the progress and it stopped . Picture Flash was off while she was on her back .

Molting stopped & go later? I assume it will resume eventually.
I take it. There’s some reason this happens?

I'm assuming that it's a pretty uncommon occurrence but it happened to me also, flipped on its back but flipped back up without actually molting.

It might be that it sensed something or some kind of disturbance. "Sensed a disturbance in the force"
It'll continue, maybe after a few hours or days. When it's ready.

Success although it picked a horrible spot I had to dump a water dish . … it nearly dived into it.
Had it molted the opposite direction it might have. she never went back to the original molt mat .
