Is it possible for a spiderling to molt faster then it did a previous molt? Like time frame in between molts I mean.
For example say a spiderling molted after 2 months. Then molted again a month later. Is that possible or is it always a longer/same period of time?

The time between moltings depends on several factors in my experience. If the T fed more between molts, that could "speed up" the next molt, temp and humidity play an important role as well with the growth and development of the T and therefore the molting process. I would say generally the time between molts gradually get longer, but that is not a hard fast rule. I hope I am not just rambling here LOL.

The reason I ask is because my B.smithi sling took 1 month to molt the first time I had him. Then 2 months. It has been 1 month since his last molt and he appears to be in the position he always does before molting. "Sideways against the substrate on the wall of the enclosure.

Could be nothing but just makes me wonder. He always molted in that position.
