Molt!

My rosie molted this morning! He's still doing the, "I'm vulnerable so I'll curl up and you can't see me" thing so I don't have a measurement on him yet but he was about 3" previously.

The real story here is that I reached in to grab the exuvium thinking, "FINALLY, I'll get an intact exu and attempt to sex it." Oh, no. Winston? NOT having it. I grab it, he grabs it. And starts chewing. Such a butthead.

Oh well, I guess I'll be sure of his sex when he hooks out.

I couldn't even pull it away. I was a little worried about hurting his soft little self. Can't believe the strengths these guys have, it's really cool.

His first ever molt in my care, he carried the exuvium around with him where ever he went for 4 days like a teddy bear. This one's something else.
