Whew!

My fourth molt in two weeks occurred today! My P. Irminia sling molted and looks like he/she gained some size! I estimate around 2 inches post-molt but won't know for certain til it hardens up. How cool!

And I think I've got a few more on the horizon-- my Avics are getting awful dark-- makes me a bit nervous! Still-- this is my first successful arboreal molt, so I feel a bit more confident about the Avics!

This hobby is awesome. :)

Cool. My P.cambridgei, Fang molted just yesterday. He's getting a better container once he starts eating again.

try more, weather. :) It's basically been assumed that chances in pressure (like right before a huge storm) might be a signal for Ts to molt. I've been looking into it a lot, it's really interesting.

btw Redbrandy, congrats on all the molting!

Well that will be really interesting living in southwest Florida. We get storms all the time! :}

Thanks guys! This is uber-exciting!

I'll definitely get some pics up-- I think I'll be able to have some of these guys sexed soon. :)

I have had quite a few molts recently too. My P. regalis G. pulchra A. Versi and G. rosea all molted in the last couple weeks.

Yes--it's happened again!!

Two more molts within the last two days: first, my A. sp. Peru Purple hopped on the molt bandwagon three days ago. He's got what I believe to be adult coloring coming in-- his legs are blue, and he's fine as can be! He's about two inches now. And second, my A. Avic, Ikarus, molted yesterday! He's still a lil guy, but an adorable one inch lil guy!

Thought I'd post pics of the molts I've had and a couple of the of the newest guys post-molt! If I'm posting this in the wrong spot, deepest apologies!

First picture of the molts from smallest to largest:
First row: B. Vagans, G. Rosea, A. Avicularia
Second row: A. Metallica, G. Pulchra, P. Irminia and A. sp. Peru Purple

Second picture: A. sp. Peru Purple

Third Picture: A. Avicularia
