I ordered some Latrodectus recently and unfortunately one decided to molt in transit. It doesn't look good I'm afraid.

No real point to this post other than to share my frustration when they decide to do that in transit. Mantids are notorious for molting in transit too and it never ends well.

That's frustrating. I lost a Phormingochilus sp. Sabah Blue sling that molted on the way to me recently. It was alive and hardened enough to rehouse when I received it, but it must have sustained internal injuries because it only lasted another day and a half. The seller took care of me, but it still stinks.

Sorry that happened! Hopefully the seller is understanding, I am expecting a package this week and hope it goes well as it will be hard to replace.

Very unfortunate! Thankfully I've never experienced this, but I can imagine how frustrating and saddening it would be. Hope your specimen pulls through against the odds!

Yes the seller is very understanding and is one of the best out there in my opinion. It's not his fault it's just insanely bad luck.
