Firstly, I have no idea if I did everything alright 'cause I don't really know how this forum works and English isn't my first language so let me know if I have to change something.

little Davus pentaloris

And now let me introduce to you mine and my partner's little baby - Peter. We don't know yet what it's gender is (but we wish it to be female).
It's such a sweet and calm baby. It loves to be held and it's so curious about world around it.

Peter is just after it's first molt in our home and we're both so proud of it.

Anyways, look at this little sweetheart!

No, it doesn't. Tarantulas aren't capable of "loving" anything - they're primitive, instinctual creatures, and interpreting anything they do any other way is purely anthropomorphizing. As slings, D. pentaloris can be handled some (as is the case with most slings), but this is a habit that you will want to get out of, because this species tends to be incredibly skittish and fast, if not downright defensive when they get larger. You're not likely to get bit, but what is more likely is that you'll try handling your pretty spider and it will run off your hand much faster than you can react, and it will go splat on the floor. There are multiple posts about folks killing their spiders because it fell when they were handling it, so for the sake of the animal that you are so fond of, please treat it safely and with respect and don't handle it. These beautiful and unique creatures are best kept as pets to be observed, much the same way you would keep a beautiful aquarium fish. If you want a pet that you can handle and cuddle with, and that can return your affection, a kitten or a puppy might be a better choice.

I can tell you clearly love your little one, I keep Davus pentaloris myself, I have a female called Deetra and can totally understand your love for this sp as I love them too but so you can watch your little one grow up can I please offer some advice;
As stated above it's not safe to handle your baby, it's fine for you but could damage or kill your little one which I know you would never want to do, especially as Peter gets older and more heavy bodied the risk gets greater and greater that your baby will get an injury from handling, its not worth the risk imo. Also that sub is too wet you want it damp but not so wet that it would drip if you picked some up, again a very wet environment like that could kill Peter, it will be a breeding place for alsorts of bacteria not to mention the respiratory problems it could cause, a water dish and slightly damp sub is more then adequate for this sp. Can I also suggest more web points and a hide this sp is bolty, nervous and likes a hiding spot to disappear into so it may help to provide those. Your baby is stunning btw I would show you my girl but her web is so thick in her enclosure now I can't get pictures they just come out as a blurry shape behind some web lol.

I don't mean to pick or upset you as your clearly new to the hobby and clearly adore Peter, I tell you these things because I want your experience with the hobby to be good and not end in disaster and above all I don't want to see any t be harmed by something that could have been prevented with the right information before hand. I have seen to many posts on here where the death of a t could have been prevented if the owner of the tarantula had had the right husbandry info in the first place.

Please if you only take one thing from this let it be stop handling your baby its not worth risking Peters life.
