Hiya,

I was just wondering if mixing crickets into the lobster roach container
creates any kind of problems?

I was low on roaches so had to buy crickets to feed my critters.
It was late at night and I was tired and since the crickets tend to
chew their way out of the plastic bag, I just tossed them in with the
lobster roaches. I bought too many of the darned things, so they're
still chirping away.

I have more lobsters arriving today, so if it looks like a problem, I'll just
put them into a separate container...away from the ones that have
crickets mixed in.

Thanks a bunch! :)

Well, I decided to put the new lobsters in with them. Now that they're totally outnumbered, maybe the roaches will eat them or something. It's hard
to catch all the little <Edit -MrI> and feed them off and I almost think the crickets
had the roaches outnumbered for a bit.

I think cricket skin is too soft to be left with any other feeders. I occasionally drop a couple of live (but injured) ones to my mealworm and superworm boxes. Both the worms and the beetles swamp the crix, and you see nothing left in a couple of hours.
