Here are some of my favorite pics from my collection. This is my first post with attachments. Hopefully the pics post ok. If someone would like a higher quality version let me know. I had to convert them down in quality to fit on the site.

Acanthoscurria geniculata:

They look great. I can't wait till my A.geniculata gets that big. BTW how big is it? Hey what is in the tupperware container in your P.regalis tank? The P.regalis is a beautiful "Pokie". I have a 2 inch unsexed P.ornata and can't till it is big enough to go in a terrarium!!! :D

The first thing I thought of in your first pic, was that your geniculata reminded me of the contrast of light and dark on a P.regalis. Then I was pleasantly surprised to see pics of a regalis seconds later.

Awesome Ts, and great pics!

The tupperware container is what she arrived in from Botar. I left it in there so she could walk out when she was ready. She was already stressed from the shipping, and I didn't want to stress her more by forcing her out of the container. She moved after a few hours and I have removed the container.

The A.geniculata is about 2.5" but I expect it to molt any day now.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I will send more pics, especially as some of the slings start to get bigger and more photogenic. {D

I got it from a local exotics dealer here in Colorado. If I remember right it coast about $45. I especially liked it for the P. regalis because it has a locking lid. :D

I am not debating the sex of the P regalis he said he got the T from Botar and he(botar) knows a lot more about T's than me especailly when it comes to sexing them using the proper instruments, that being i said.

I think it is very interesting to see that dark of a stripe on a female especailly one that is 6", does this mean that sexing using this so called easy method is possibly inaccurate sometimes, is it far to say all female pokie's lose their stripe at some point?? or is it possible for a female to retain a dark stripe all the way into adulthood.

here is a pic of my female regalis that is about 5.25" notice the difference.

please someone that has kept and raised many many pokies in their time try to clear this up for me, im really interested on other experienced keepers opinions on this matter.

and by the way very very nice T's you have

All I know for sure now is I really need to get a regalis for my collection. I have avoided the pokies mostly because of my son. However he is nine now and knows enough about the T's to know which ones need a little extra respect. Since we all know that they all need to be recpected.
