What was I thinking? I had my hisser colony in a really nicely landscaped set-up with corkbark, and large wood pieces, with lots of hiding spots in a ten gallon aquarium. Soil, peat mix for substrate. So last week, I just dumped in my black velvet, harlequin and beetle mimics. There are also orange spanish isopods in there. There are around 30 hissers, and around a dozen of each of the others. It looks fantastic, it's like watching an aquarium with mixed species of fish. There is no fighting between the species, everyone seems to have found their spots. Does anyone see any real problem here, I can seperate them if you do. Has anyone else tried something like this? It really does look good.

My hissers are very slow eaters, compared to my other sp. Make sure to keep enough food available so they get some before the others eat it all. Though it might not be a problem as they don't seem to need as much food.

I concur, I kept hissers with a deaths head species and the deaths heads moved , ate and bred a lot faster than the hissers and I ended up splitting them up for the greater good.
