It is time to appreciate the mutts, purebred dogs get all the hype, fancy dog shows, well it's time they get the spotlight, post pictures of your mixed breed dogs, discuss everything involving them, as well as advantages to owning one.

Let's begin:

Let's begin:
There are loads of videos on Typhon's thread with shows my mum's dog that's mixed. Heaton. He's absolutely stunning. He's a phenomenal dog.

Heaton has a load of different breeds in him.

Is it bad that I already forgot that I made this thread?

Here are my two mixed breeds:

Luna (pit bull/husky mix) now

Luna when I got her

My oldest dog Abby (chihuahua/rat terrier) now at 13. When I lose her I will go into a deep depression, as she was with me since I was 12 or 13 (she was 3 months old when she came into my life)(she was born in the month of December) (she came with me when I moved out after I graduated from high school in 2013)

This big guy passed away in 1/2016 (someone came into the yard and poisoned him), he would've been 3 in June), his name was Dozer, he was a mix of unknown breeds. I walk past his urn every day. He used to talk (not literally)

I can't believe someone poisoned your dog. That is messed up, man. All of these dogs are so lovely.

I am a fan of mixed breeds! Both my dogs are rescue adoptions and are big mutts.

Sasha is 8 years old now and we got her as a giant 5 month old puppy. She was a handful when younger- very energetic and willful. She is very smart so it took a while to get her training down. She is also a total cuddle bug and likes to sit on your lap. She doesnt realize she weighs 85 pounds. We did a DNA test on her and here is what it said: Rottweiler, boxer, mastiff, greyhound, pekinese, Boston terrier.
Such a weird combo, not sure if I believe it!

And here she is snuggling with Bobby (RIP).

Radar is my other dog and he is 7 years old now. He is such a little sweetie. He is half Rottweiler and half beagle. He was the runt of his litter and has been completely blind from birth. His eyes never fully developed. He gets around really well though, you would really know he is blind unless you really paid attention. He is very sweet and sensitive. He also loves going to the beach!

Here he is after he had stomach surgery. A blind dog in a cone is a very sad thing!

My "little brother" is my parents' dog, Max. He is a goldendoodle and a total Muppet. Here he is playing with my daughter in the Idaho twilight. I love this picture of them.

My friend has just lost her puppy.

Someone left some food out on a dog trail that was filled with tacks. The pup swallowed it and the tacks cut her insides and she suffered a heart attack.

A bullet is too good for humans like that.

Man it's so sad that people kill and poison dogs like that for no good reason. My parents used to have a dog when I was very small, passed away by the time I was four. Think we can all agree that dogs are just about the best things ever

Here's my mum's mixed breed, Heaton. He's absolutely fantastic although he's a bugger for thieving.

When he arrived.

Last year.

Recently with my little man.

What the Heck?! I just don't understand this. People can be so terrible.

When I was on high school, someone on our neighborhood left antifreeze out for cats to drink and it killed several cats.

I am sorry for your friend's loss. It is hard enough to lose and pet, but then to lose one like that! Ugh.

Do you know what his breeds are? He looks like he has some shorthair pointer maybe? Anyway, he looks like an awesome dog! He is your little brother, and Typhon's uncle!

He has some wire haired pointer him in. Well spotted. He's got greyhound or deerhound somewhere too. Staff and possibly something else. He's a real mix.
