Mites in my springtail culture

I have a culture of curviseta springtails with quite a few adults and a ton of babies. However I recently found mites in the enclosure. I removed a majority of them but I’m sure they will come back. Will the springtails be able to counteract the mites since there are a lot or will the mites crash my culture?

Depends on the mite species. Springtails are omnivore-detrivores. Mites run the entire spectrum ranging from herbivores through omnivores and detrivores on out to venomous carnivores.
