Mite Cross Contamination?

I was considering feeding my H. lividum an anole or a gecko to vary her diet a bit from the staple table fare of crickets.
My question is can the mites that plague reptiles jump ship and infest spiders? I have seen mites on lizards and snakes before. They are orangish-red and quite visible. Are they just reptile specific, and the mites you find in tarantula tanks a different species?
I know the mites crickets carry can also bother your T, but I have never seen any.
Just curious,
Scott

It's all about cleaning up quickly after the meal dude. It's not just the mites but parasite flies and the smell!!!

Yeah I know that. I always clean up and pick out left over food boluses. I also keep my cages well ventilated and fairly dry. What I am asking is if the mites that feed on reptiles would have any interest in spiders.
Kind of like how different species of lice, fleas, ticks, etc. are specific to a certain type of host.
For example, I remember watching one of Nigel Marvin's shows where they talked about a certain type of leech that only feeds on hippo anuses.
Catch my drift? :D

I believe that the mites that would bother a T are white. I have never seen reptile mites because I have never kept reptiles. So my guess would be as long as the boluses up quickly the mites shouldn't infect the T house.
