Well, I wanted to get some photos of my new G. rosea, who i rescued a few days ago from a petstore (2nd one from the same store...they just don't listen). She complied, and has been a real sweety since I got her. I also thought I'd get a shot or two of my A. avic juvies, since I don't have any of them yet. The first (starting to get some adult coloring - has the black legs and pink toes now) was a bit camera shy, so I thought I would try the smaller one (which has the tan/pink legs and black toes). Well, this one was also shy, but instead of retreating to the middle of its container, decided it liked the look of my shirt sleeve. It ran up my arm, inside my shirt and nestled into my armpit. My wife, who just a few days ago said "You're driving me nuts with these spiders, but I still love you" was in the other room. As I explained that I might need a little help, the situation resolved itself...by way of the culprit climbing out of my armpit, down my chest and out onto my pants...I did get a picture of it on my hand, where it finally ended up. It then went back into its container...anyway, heres the new pics.
My rosey...
again, a little blurry...
and the "tourist"...who I now think might be getting ready to molt!
