I’ve had mealworm colony’s going for months on grinded up instant oats .
I’m highly aware they don’t need a schedule. I have a schedule, therefore a feeding has to fit in with what I do in my day. I also do not get an allowance like “every” teen does. There are many factors to consider by the way!

And that’s supposed to meannnnn? 😐
yeah I was unlucky enough to never get an allowance when I was younger. I barely had any money and couldn’t find a job.
Now I’m over 21 I still can’t make enough money to move out because jobs pay so little. But I already got post on that in the watering hole forum I won’t get into it here.

I think an important question to ask yourself is, do you want to keep this tarantula?

As other users have pointed out, your main concerns are supplies for cleaning and feeding. Cleaning needs are minimal and should not require any supplies. As far as feeding, you keep using the general term reptile, which sort of implies a variety of types. It seems likes many of us are assuming at least some of them are also insectivores and there is probably a semi regular supply of insect in the house. Even if that not true, and as you said if you request crickets it can take a few days to get them, that should be fine. The difference between a few days should not matter to a tarantula.

I may be reading too much between the lines, but it seems like you still have a lot of reluctance about caring for this tarantula despite people reassuring you about the feeding and cleaning needs. If you aren't interested, or don't feel capable of caring for it, you should consider rehoming it. You could try posting about rehoming here, or on a local tarantula Facebook group. Hopefully you could find someone that wants to take it off your hands. You could probably even find someone willing to pay you for it.

I don’t get to watch my Ts much either because there not in my main tv room.
But read this they are great low maintenance pets I would gladly keep them over reptiles.

good point … firelegs can sell for good prices actually. Sadly I lost mine to mystery health causes.
op seems to get the idea they need constant cleaning I almost never have to clean my cages except for bolas or glass that needs cleaning with water no chemicals.

Mealworms are extremely easy to breed too.

@d4rlingscup1d, isolate a good few mealworms, they will eventually start to curl up and then turns to the beetle larvae. Get 2 containers one slightly bigger, but, you can use 2 of the same container as long as one fits in the other.
The top container is where you're going to put loads of holes in the base, then, put some substrate in and some food, like wheat or oats this is where the beetle larvae will be placed. The 2nd container is basically going to be the catch cup, put some food in it and if you're using 2 containers the same size, put something in as a spacer. Keep it wherever you keep you're T the warmer the better for breeding.
Now the beetles are going to breed and, and the resulting offspring, the mealworms, will tunnel through the holes you made previously and be caught in the container below. Total time from mealworm and back to simmilar sized mealworm cycle is between 3/4 months. If you can manage to get 2 tubs of mealworms somehow, keep one chilled and use them to feed you're T in the meantime while you use the other to setup the breeding. This way you will never have to ask to get feeders again. This is the exact same process for superworms too but takes closer to 6 months for the full cycle.

That makes more sense. I do know they can go a “bit” without eating, it’s just the fact of not feeding them when I normally would that worries me sometimes if that makes sense.

As I mentioned in my post, I live with others that pay for things. I don’t pay for the things that are bought for my reptiles, etc. I do only if I am given the cash to. That’s because I live with my family, I am a minor. It’s hard to be able to keep up with certain things when my parents are more interested in reptiles than arachnids, even if I push for it. If I push for something like crickets to be bought before/near the normal feeding day…they’re not bought for some time after. If I push for some mice bought for my snake? They’re bought as soon as possible. If you get what I’m trying to say…
When they go in for mice, ask to pick up a little container of mealworms or dubia roaches or superworms. Like 10 mealworms could last a VERY long time if you're only feeding one spider, and they keep great in the fridge. Dubia will eat veggie scraps and also last a very long time.
