If your sure it's an H.minax go for it. I'd buy almost any T that size for $20. But that is just me.

For some reason I figured they'd be A LOT more expensive.

I'm looking at an at from 'Paulatpetshop', and read a few good reviews. Seems like someone who is experienced and trying to get started again. Might take a chance on this one.

It is WC, which I honestly don't mind. And nope, no sex.

So I suppose I see the price but still expected it to be somewhat more expensive.

remember WC spiders often can have mites and be in bad shape.thats why there so cheap ;]
often with most Haplopelmas they are usually sold under dif common names(black velvet hehe)with the wrong ID's alot of the time!so you may not be gettin H.minax

Ok so if you don't mind WC, I would at least see if the seller will provide a picture. It would be kind of a bummer to get a MM if you don't have a female for it. But if you have a girl waiting, go for it!!! I'm just paranoid, I guess, I like to know whether or not I'll be keeping my pets for a while.

True H. minax arent around much....often DCF O. albostriatums are labled as such. I second Ryan, for $20 you cant rally go wrong even if it is a male.

$20 is a great price for a MM H. Minax. I myself am really getting into the Haplopelma species and can't wait to get a hold of a pair of Minax. Go for it man!! I bought a MM H. Albostriatum for $20 at a pet store... I'm currently awaiting a female to mate him with.
