How do they "do it"?

Any special conditions that they need?

Can you tell when they've mated?

How long do they take to lay eggs, and how long do they take to hatch?

I'm mostly wondering about my AGBs, but I have a pair of red millipedes that I'd like to reproduce as well (I'm told they're difficult).

Thanks in advance for any information.

If you take a close look at the photo on the top left of the book cover that answers your first question (in your first post).

Amazon.com
e-bay.com
BioQuip.com
BugsIncyberspace.com
SwiftInverts.com
Elytraandantenna.com
Tarantulaspiders.com
etc.

There's also a detailed article on breeding AGBs in an older Invert-Mag, It sould out a long time ago but Swiftinverts may still have some copies of that one.

Well if you don't have any money... I successfully bred my AGB's and all I did was get 2 females and 1 male or at least that is what I think their genders are. And I treated them as you should any AGB's and I had no idea they mated I just left them alone a lot and didn't move their hideout's and BAM! Babies galore. I find though once their exoskeleton hardens, the babies are a lot safer when they are moved to a smaller cage then the ten gallon that I keep my adults in. (I think the adults may cannobilize but I could be severly wrong.) So I'm just sharing my expierence in breeding with you. You should definatly get the book in case I told you anything wrong. I would hate to screw up your project.
