A couple of shots under the microscope.
This is a flatworm. It was found at the river under the rocks, in the water.
Feel free to add anything you have

I've had this microscope for several years. I bought an adapter to hook a camera up to. I'm gonna try to get a few more shots.

That's pretty sweet. How much did that run you if I may ask? My have access to a microscope, but an adapter like that would be amazing.

Hi
Our microscope has the regular viewer as well as one that comes out straight from the top. Forgive my microscope terminology, I'm not too sure what they are called:D
The one that comes out at the top is the one we hook the camera up to. There are two different attachments, One cost about $100 and the other was about $25. I will try to get some pictures of it this weekend. We got it about 12 years ago.

that's not too bad. I'll have to look into that. Can I put in a request? I'm not sure where you're getting the hydras from, but it's the coolest thing ever getting to see them eat something, like a daphnia or something. A picture of that would be epic.

This is the microscope we use.
The thing sticking out straight out the top is the piece we attach the camera to.

Anyone ever try collecting water bears? I have read about them, and thought about trying to find some, I have a cheap microscope that I got maybe a little over 10 years ago.

I just think they are pretty interesting.
