Hi,

Does anyone know if Michigan has millipedes other than the goofball one inch ones?

Were would I go about finding said millipede? In rotting logs maybe?

The N. americanus looks a lot like the little one inchers we have, but I am color blind so what do I know ;) :sarcasm:

Ive found some Xystodesmidae millipedes in wooded areas in the south eastern parts of our state.

I'm in western Michigan and live in a trailer/mobile home park. So my searching is rather limited but my aunt does have a small forest in her yard so I could look in there if I can go out to her house.

I need more maple/oak wood for my larva anyways ;)
