someone on craigslist is gonna sell me three fancy mice for $20 even though they are gonna be snake food do fancy mice usually cost more than regular mice? or is that just a name because they arent all white or something?

That's a huge waste of money if you're just going to feed them to a snake. It's also a waste of a pet-quality mouse when you can buy unsocialized not-bred-for-personality feeders, frozen or no, for less than a couple dollars apiece from any pet store or bulk dealer.

I'm buying them because the store mice are not as big and plump as the three I'm getting

I'm buying them because the store mice are not as big and plump as the three I'm getting. Will these mice have a bigger chance of producing babies they won't eat/kill?

I don't know that anyone can tell you that. :confused: If the store mice aren't big enough to feed your snake, I suggest finding an online dealer to ship you frozen in bulk. You can get a wide range of sizes/weights, most of the websites have a nice chart or pictures for you to know what their size categories are.

If you're willing to pay seven dollars for a single mouse to feed your snake, bulk orders - even with shipping - will be downright cheap in comparison.
