Most of the mice I've had were all white and boring (as far as photos go). Except for the Rocky Horror bunch, but they all cannibalized each other. Brad and Janet were vicious critters!

my first litter of mice cannibalized a few of their littermates, but i think they died before they were eaten... There were some genetic issues with that litter. That was my first attempt at breeding, although technically, I had little to do with the breeding. My sister's bf at the time (now husband) had bought feeders for his snakes, and had two leftovers, both boys. They fought, so we seperated them, and my sister felt sorry for the weaker of the two, so she bought him a girlfriend. When the babies were 2 days old, her cat knocked over the cage, and they came to live in my room, away from the cats. Then I tried breeding the other male with a satin female I had bought, but that didn't work out.
My next attempt at breeding was at my sister's house. That was the RHPS group. I had Brad, Janet, Trixie, Colombia, and Magenta. They were all really pretty mice, two were solid black, one was siamese, one was a light brindle, and one was roan. They were all friendly, but never did breed. And Brad and Janet ate the rest, one by one. Not fun, although a bit ironic, considering their names. That is now titled the Rocky Horror Disaster.
After that, I stopped making friends with the food, until I got Hank, an obese PEW male I adopted from Petco. He was awesome. I had to put him on a diet for awhile, though. He was almost as big as a small rat...

Technically because i deal with baby snakes for the time being i am a mouse person lol, however literally because i have so many snakes i am a snake person so we know how that ends..Head first lol.....IF some of the people on here are like me whenever we see mice we always think somewhere on along the lines of " i wonder how many of those my baby boa can eat" or "would that black and white one get one of my snakes to start feeding again?"...Nonetheless.... that black and white one is cute!

You can’t have rats without mice,
Huh???
I still have two pairs of mice but that is because I am waiting until I have enough hopper rats to bother buying the dry ice for my CO2 chamber. By next week I will have no mice.
They do not produce what my rats do, they cost more than I can purchase the pinks for (the only reason I kept them) and they do not even come close to the production of the rats.
My Gerbils, kept only for non-eating Ball Python Rescues, out produce my mice.

...you got mad after not getting instant replies? A message board is not a chat room, after all, and this is one of the less busy subforums.

They're very cute mice, but throwing tantrums because you don't get replies fast enough for your tastes makes the thread much less cute. Just for future reference. :)

Awe! They're cute diggy! There were some beautiful rescue fancy mice available in my area awhile ago, including some angora rex ones that looked just like little blonde sheep. I was very, very tempted.

I could never own a snake, I love little furry critters just a little too much... the snake's dinner would become a pet and then the snake would go hungry! Not good! :p

Heck, I often have a hard time feeding crickets to my Ts because I love their singing. There are no wild crickets in my area (too cold for that), so the only time I hear them sing is when I have some adults to feed to the Ts. I've actually tried keeping a few just to hear them sing, but they end up dying before too long anyways.

Record them, then on a cold night, open a bottle of wine, sit by the fire and think of them......or someone;)
