but there is such thing as a mexican white knee?
Well, if whomever sold you that called it a mexican white knee, there's at least one with that name.{D
It might be a bit hard if it's a really small sling, but we can take a guess at the species if you post a photo.

Very small and hard to see pic... But I have a Brazilian White Knee sling about the same size and he looks the same. A closer pic of the abdomen would help a lot;)

So now the question is Nhandu chromatus or Acanthoscurria geniculata.

Hopefully you'll start to see common names are garbage and scientific names are the best way to go.

Aye, i'm getting fed up with common names. At a reptile convention last weekend most the invert venders had common names placed on their T's, very frustrating. I just made a list of Latin species I wanted and started to hand it to them hah.

So FYI mine is Acanthoscurria geniculata

I have two A.geniculata's one is a loan from a friend to see what an adult female is like and the second is my 3" I got after the loan.
If it is genic your have fun and maybe get hooked on them and my girl is in premoult with total black rump and just sites on her cork hide.
I was thinking of having a nhandu but my friends that have many years with T's said a firm no as they are too skittish and defencive.
So if it's a genic you have your soon see the bands.

Thanks, I'm excited now... it has bands on its legs even at this tiny size and its rump looks swollen and black, its burried deep into the substrate under some wood so hopefully its molting :)
